Nicobox is a special player app used to playback audio from Niconico Douga.
This app can be downloaded for free from the App Store or Goolgle Play.
No niconico account is required.
You can search for videos from NicoBox’s Ranking , Search, or Home menu options.

Free members can add up to a total of 100 videos, while premium members can add up to 500 videos. If you exceed your limit, added videos will be deleted starting from your oldest entries.

Playlist is a video list unique to NicoBox.
You can create an infinite number of entries. However, these entries will be erased once the app is removed.
If you create Mylists (or add videos to your Mylists) using your PC or other devices and apps, you can reflect this data in Nicobox via refresh.
Changes may take time to reflect depending on your connection environment.
■How do I refresh my Mylist?
Open the Nicobox Playlist screen and tap the refresh button from the upper right of the screen.
This will not refresh your mylisted videos.
Refreshing your videos requires a separate procedure.
■How do I refresh my mylisted videos?
Open up the Mylist you want to refresh and tap the refresh button from the upper right of the screen. The refresh time will vary depending on the number of mylisted videos or your connection environment.
No, you cannot watch Live broadcasts and Timeshifts on Nicobox.
For watching Live broadcasts and Timeshifts on your smartphone,please use the niconico app.
■Load My list
You can load your Niconico Mylists as NicoBox Playlists.
■Cache Use
In order to improve playback effiency, a portion of data is cached. Cache capacity is displayed on screen.
■Cache Capacity Limit
You can set the max cache capacity limit for your device.
The max limit ranges from 0.1GB to 64GB.
■Android Version(Open Niconico)
Tap [niconico] to open the web version of niconico on your smartphone.
The following videos cannot be played or searched for on NicoBox.
You will receive the following messages when videos are being loaded on NicoBox. Please try reloading the videos after waiting a few minutes once the messages appear on screen.
■You can display up to 200 NicoBox trends.
You can also add up to a total of 25,000 videos to Mylist since the number of videos you can add will increase from 100 to 500 per Mylist.
You also can access various other niconico services.
■Forgetting your premium account
If you forget your registered premium account information, you will need to register for a new account.
*You cannot transfer premium to a new account.
*You cannot receive refunds for payment ?or revoke your premium registration.
■Cancelling your premium member registration
Access the web version of Niconico and after logging in with your premium member account, click on [Cancel Premium Membership] at the bottom of the Homepage to go to the premium membership cancellation page.
*Daily rates are not calculated when you subscribe or quit in the middle of a month.

Before switching your device type for the iOS version, please back up and restore your data using your iTunes account and server.
You cannot restore Playlists created inside the App for the Android version.

What happens when you remove the NicoBox App from your smarphone?

When you remove the NicoBox App from your smarphone, your entire playlist will be deleted.
However,you can restore Playlists for the iOS version by backing up the data with your iTunes account.
Before switching your device type or removing the NicoBox app, please back up and restore your data using your iTunes account and server.
Note that with the Android version, you cannot recover your app created playist.
